Dealing With Interview Nerves

Being nervous about an interview is perfectly normal and most people will have nerves of some sort. They can actually be a good thing as they mean that you are sharp and ready for the forthcoming interview. However, you will want to ensure that you can control your nerves so that they do not get the better of you. As with most things, coping with nerves can be learnt.

The main thing to remember is that you have been invited to interview because the firm has decided that they could employ you based on what they have seen in your written application. You should therefore be proud of securing an interview in the first place and use this to draw confidence for the interview itself.
